Instead of having the blues on a Monday I thought I would make mine green and not in the eco friendly way!
Here is a card today instead of all the other bits.
Its not a great picture (I'll have to practice more at taking snaps!) sorry.
The stamp is a Do Crafts papermania one called Henbury Lane, I think its really pretty. I've stamped it in SU Old Olive and the flowers are made using the SU round scallop punch. The little hello stamp is also from SU from their tiny tags set. I then punched the edge with SU scallop punch and added a border of the patterend paper.
I like the card although its going to have to be one that gets hand delivered as the flowers would make it costly to post!
I went to the Make it! show in Farnborough on Saturday. I had a great day with my Mum and spent a fortune (don't tell the hubby!) I came away with lots of ideas and have been playing ever since so I'll be back soon with more bits and bobs.
See you soon

HELP....
As I am VERY new to this whole blogging malarky I wondered if someone could help me out!!!
I am interested in entering some challenges (not sure what ones yet so if anyone can recommend some!) but I am not sure how to go about it.
One thing that is important to mention here is that I am technically challenged where computers are concerned...must be getting slightly better though, my lonely little blog is working!
Anyway, any comments / help would be very much appreciated.
Bye for now

And the kids are off again....
Don't get me wrong, I love it when my children are off school, but the holidays do seem to come round very quickly. My boys are very happy to stay at home often insisting on it....at least I don't have to feel guilty about crafting! The boys often join me and we end up making a mess together!!!
I have been playing recently with a jam jar (well, a pickled onion jar, heavily bleached!!!) to make a pot for pens. I painted it with black enamel paint then covered it with hot pink and black card. I really like it and might do one each for the boys desks minus the hot pink!!
I'm off to the 'Make it" show in Farnbrough this Saturday so I'm looking forward to browsing and seeing what's about. I'll let you know how I get on and more importantly how skint I'll be at the end of the weekend!!!
See you soon

Got that Friday feeling ?.......
.... I'm not sure I have today but I guess it is still early. I am having to go to work today which is not the norm on a Friday but then I am out with my girly friends tonight so I'm sure I'll have the "feeling" later!!
Back to the crafting...I decided to make some little notebooks to donate to the school to sell at their Summer/Christmas fair so here's a lttle look....
Look at that...I've learnt something already and thats to take the photo the right way up!
I bought some little note books from the pound shop then covered and decorated them. I'm really into Stampin up so most of the stamps and punches I've used in these are from them.
Have a great weekend.

Hello and Welcome.....
....how exciting!! I have been following a number of blogs over the past few months and suddenly on a whim I have decided to start my own. I am very disorganised as I haven't anything to show tonight but as I get used to things I will start showing my attempts at card making and scrapbooking.
If I'm completely honest, I'm not sure how often I will be able to make an apperance but I think at least a couple of times a week will be feesible. I'm also unsure of who will be interested in my creations and ramblings so I guess I'll have to wait and see. I'll appreciate any comments/advice along the way.
So, heres to my new life as a blogger....I'm looking forward to it.
