Some favourites...

With SAB all but over I said I would share just a couple of my favourite SAB cards (and there were many....).
We used the Fresh Vintage set at this months card club as it was the last time the lovely set would be coming out...oh, I could get all emotional!!!!

This is the card I made for card club but all my ladies make something completely different.  It's great to see them all make their own interpretation of my card.

This card we made at training with the loveyl Amanda.  I really love using the markers, the images looks completely different when stamped in a solid colour and when using a variety of colours.

Also during SAB I held a one sheet wonder afternoon using the fabulous free papers, Everyday Enchantment.  I intend to do another 'special' day/afternoon in the near future (just working on it now!) so keep popping back to see what, where and when....
Here's a couple of cards from the OSW afternoon.

Anyway, thats that for another year.  I do hope you all managed to get the freebies you wanted....

Oh, just a teaser....I've had a sneek peek at the next mini.......and I think you might love it!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by,
Take care

Sale-a-bration is almost over...

...I can't believe its the last day tomorrow for FREE goodies with any orders over 45.00.  Sale-a-bration has had some really lovely bits this year and hopefully I'll be part of it again next year too.
I'll be back tomorrow with some of my favourite SAB bits.

Until then, I promised you a look at my awning card.  These cards do seem to be everywhere at the moment and I have had really positive feedback from everyone who has seen them.  My card club ladies have requested they make one next month....

My little cupcake shop......very cute, don't you think?  You could use this for all sorts of things, a toy shop, a flower shop.....

And the nice thing is that it folds down flat for posting (especially as postage is going up soon!!!)

It was the last day of term today and the boys took part in an Easter service at school.  They both spoke loudly and very clear and I am very proud of both of them. So, we now have two weeks off and I'm really looking forward to the break and we always seem to have a lovely time together.

Thanks for stopping by,

Nearly Easter......

Good Evening,  hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine.  I had a whole day full of crafting yesterday which was lovely.  I had a workshop in the morning and then card club in the evening...phew....!!

I made an awning card and a very cute bunny box at the morning workshop and both went down very well.  I'm just posting the box tonight but I'll be back with the awning card.

How cute are these??....  I found the tutorial on you tube (just type in easter bunny box). it's really easy to follow.  I though they would be really good for kids with a few chocolate eggs in, they would make a nice change.

The tutorial also shows a little chick box as well and it would be rude not to give that a go....

Really pleased with how these came out!!! Guess what the kids in my family are getting....

Had another busy week this week, we can't wait for half term.  The boys had a cross country tournament on Tuesday and they both ran really well and today they have had an easter egg hunt at school.  I am busy trying to sort out my nephews 'save the date' cards for his wedding and getting prepared for another couple of workshops next month....life is non stop in our house at the moment, but I guess I wouldn't want it any other way......(or would I???)

What a hard night!!

I did say that I didn't think I would be able to pop by and say hello and I wasn't wrong.  It was one pretty hectic week but it is 8pm on Saturday night and I have my jim jams on and I am about to go and curl up and watch a film.

I am childless tonight!!! Elliot is at  sleepover for his friends birthday with 9 other boys - the woman must be mad! and Aaron went on his FIRST battle camp with the Army cadets last night and I have to admit it was so much harder than I thought it was going to be....I cried like a baby!!!!
He was very nervous and it would have been so easy to grab him, put him back in the car and not let him go but I knew he would have a fab time.  He will come home tomorrow no doubt stinking to high heaven but I can't tell you how glad I will be once he is home!!!!

Last weekend it was my friends daughters birthday so I made this girly yet cool card (unless its just me who thinks its cool - I am middle aged nearly!!!)

I have use lucky limeade with melon mambo and it was pretty striking (not sure the picture shows that!)

Right, I'm going to get under a blanket to watch my film,
Enjoy the sun tomorrow...

Belated Mothers Day Wish to you all...

I do hope you were all very spoilt yesterday (or did the spoiling!!!) I had a nice day, although I still had the pleasure(!) of standing on the sideline of a football pitch....both boys had good results though so they were happy! My Mum and Dad then joined us for dinner in the afternoon.

I can now show you the card and little pressie I made for my Mummy....

I am really pleased with how this card ended up.  It's quite simple but really striking.  I'm not sure the picture picks it up but after stamping the medallion I overstamped with the swirl from the baroque motif set in versamark and heat embossed using clear embossing powder.  It looked really professional.

I picked up this heart and decorated it.....what do you think?

Again, this looked fab and Mum really liked it.  I have used calypso coral and lucky limeade colours, ribbon,  flowers using the boho blossoms punch and butterflies using beautiful wings embosslit die.

Another lovely thing happened for my Mum this year.  My brother had an accident at work a few weeks ago so is off at the moment.  He rang and asked if he could come over and make Mum a card rather than buying one this year....he is as manly as they come, but I thought this was a really lovely thing to do and so did Mum (although I'm not sure she believed him to start with and I didn't get photographic evidence!!!)

I have THE most hectic week this week or rather the boys do so I apologise now if there is a lack of posts - I will try my hardest to check in before the week is out!!!

Where has the week gone?....

Seriously, I can't believe it has been a week since I last posted anything!!!!  I don't think I have had an especially busy week but it's gone fast all the same!

Elliot has a party to go to at the weekend for one of his football buddies so I have made a football themed card.  It's got Elliots seal of approval !!!!

I have made this style of card before and I really like it....it's different.  I have stamped the football in versamark and used clear embossing powder to make them stand out.

I have been making lots of different things lately but nothing I can show yet as I need them to be a surprise so hopefully I'll be able to post a bit more often in the next few days.

Got to go and put the boys to bed so best go,

Everything Eleanor...again.

I have had a very long day without my children today....they were picked up this morning at 7.45am and they are still not home and as much as I moan about them, I do miss them.
I am working tomorrow and then I have a One Sheet Wonder card class on Saturday afternoon so I've been busy trying to get everything organised.

I have been playing with my newish FREE stamp set called Everything Eleanor.  Its beautiful and really versatile.  This card was a real quickie and could be mass produced with little effort and would look good in all colours.

The photo isn't that clear but I've used melon mambo which is a really vibrant pink - it's fab and girly and I love it!!!
The flowers were stamped and cut out for added dimension but other than that, a very easy card.

Going to cellect the boys in a bit so I better finish up now.
Thanks for stopping by,

Lovely Lilac..

I have spent the afternoon trying to shop to some clothes and had no luck....Odd huh??  Well, really I have been trying to find some clothes for Aaron to take on his trip with school.  He goes next month for a few days but I am sure the clothes are going to become filthy and smelly and wet so I really don't want to spend a fortune and if I had a choice I don't want them bought home!!!!

Oh well, better luck next week!

I am trying to continue with my organised state so here is a card for a birthday next month.  I have used the medallion stamp which I am loving at the moment.

Its a really girly colour combination and not colours I go for normally but it's nice to do something different every once in a while.

It occurred to me earlier that I have now been blogging for over a year!!!  Last month was my anniversary, yah me and here's to another fantastic year - Thanks everyone xxx
